March 9 2008-

In a time where anything that is “Real” is in the spotlight, being able to produce a CD the way you want it, and perform it the way you should, needs to considered. There’s nothing wrong with pulling out the stops on a CD project, but you should always be prepared for changes when you go to perform the songs on stage. If we put a 16 piece orchestra on you song, don’t bill the show with 16 piece orchestra (unless you find one).

Point is, be mindful of your goals, as both an “Artist” and a songwriter. Don’t try to fool yourself or your audience. Put a couple of “Raw tracks” on your CD just to show you can do it.

April 20 2008-

Well, the finishing touches on the room are in place and the pics are posted. I have has several sessions now and everything is working well. It’s been awhile since I posted so I thought I’d give you all an update on what’s going on. Crather (a Spanish pop band) has just finished a 3 song demo (EP) of songs that didn’t make it on their first CD (also recorded here). Their second CD will begin production in May and “Yours Truly” will be the producer as well as the engineer this time. I am really pumped!!!

I have also received interesting calls from some former clients (or should I say “Members” of former clients) for some possible projects this summer. Should prove to be an exciting summer.  I’ll keep you all posted.
